As we celebrate the close of another gardening season and look forward to a new year of growing, let’s round out 2021 with a contest! I have one copy of the cookbook The Little Prairie Book of Berries to give away. More than just a cookbook, The Little Prairie Book of Berries offers detailed gardening guides for growing haskap, sea buckthorn berries, saskatoons, currants, chokecherries, and (the only non-berry in the book) sour cherries. And, of course, there are the recipes! If you’ve ever wondered what to do with these berries and small fruits, here’s your chance to find out some creative and delicious ways to try them!
The nitty gritty:

- To obtain a chance to win the book, please leave me a comment letting me know you’re interested…or you could tell me which fruits or vegetables are your favourites to grow in your garden. It’s up to you! Only one entry will be counted per individual.
- The winner must agree to give me their full name and mailing address so that I can pass it along to the publisher, who will be mailing out the book in the new year. TouchWood Editions is generously providing the prize – a massive thank you to them!
- The draw will be made on the morning of Tuesday, December 21.
