So…two new books that I’ve penned with my co-author Janet Melrose are officially off to the printers! I am thrilled to finally reveal the covers for our two new houseplant-themed titles, to be published by TouchWood Editions! Staying Alive: The Go-To Guide for Houseplants follows the familiar Q&A format we’ve worked with over the ten books of The Guides for the Prairie Gardener series. This time, we’re giving you tried and true tips to make your houseplants thrive. The second book, The Houseplanter, is a houseplant journal with tons of room for you to record all the little details that plant parents want to keep track of. You can preorder the books on Amazon and Indigo and most of your favourite indie bookstores – they’ll be out April 1st!
Upcoming Events:
I’ll be speaking at the Growing Gardeners event in Sylvan Lake, Alberta on Saturday, January 11. The event runs from 1 pm to 4 pm, and will feature a seed exchange, potting station, and other fun activities for all ages. The address is: 4725-43 Street. The event is hosted by the Wellness and Community Connections Centre.
