Found these two titles at work the other day: From Garden to Pickle and From Seed to Jam by Penelope S. Nelson (2022, Bullfrog Books). Simple, easy-to-read text for 4 to 8 year olds and I LOVE to see this kind of content, which shows the source of our food, from growing the plants in the garden to the process of preserving. The pickle book even has the space to reinforce safe procedures for water bath canning, which is huge for a book of this type and audience. Big, bold photos complete the work. Fantastic to see!

It looks like a really good book. I used to run the garden club for our elementary school. It was fun to see the kids excited about gardening.

    Great idea for children’s books.
