Spotted this at a community garden on my way to work yesterday. Love the snow “caps” on last year’s dill plant. I don’t leave these guys standing in my garden (I cut the seed heads off to make harvesting the seeds easier) but they sure look sweet in the winter. I’m sure the gardener who did this will have quite a few volunteer dill plants to pick out of their plot in the spring, however! (Not a huge problem in that they are super tasty, and easy to pull up.)
