If 2011 was the year of the “black” petunias, then 2012 might just belong to the whites, specifically this stunner ‘White Russian’.  Featuring creamy white petals and dark purple/chocolate veins and centre eye, ‘White Russian’ spreads to 90 cm and is an equally perfect choice for containers and in the garden.  This pretty petunia is heat and drought tolerant (good thing, because I’m rather lazy when it comes to watering), and, best of all, requires little or no deadheading!  Look for this one when you’re out and about in the garden centres in the next few weeks…I know I’ll be keeping an eye out for it.
