Since I recorded this video, we’ve had a mini heat wave here in Calgary and I STILL don’t have my tomato plants transplanted into the community garden because it’s been way too hot. (From one extreme to another!) This weekend is supposed to be cooler and rainy, though, so I can finally get them out.

I am testing out some homemade ollas and they’re in place for the next spell of heat….

Now I know what to do with the clay pots I’m not using!
It has been a scorcher, hasn’t it. We had an excellent rain early this morning – all my plants perked right back up today.

Heat wave here too. Thanks for this useful video. I read a description of this same thing but the video is much clearer.
