Calgary snapshot: Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Fish Creek Provincial Park is Canada’s second largest urban park (Rouge National Urban Park in Toronto is tops in the country).  Fish Creek features 80 kilometres (50 miles) of trails, the tiniest fraction of which I accomplished this morning.  But what a lovely start to the day!

    • Oh yes, you’re right – a really common name! Apparently there are lots of brown trout in this particular creek, and some rainbows as well. I don’t know how many people actually fish there, though – the Bow River is much more popular for anglers in the city.

I'm delighted to hear from you - thanks so much for your comments!
