Had a chuckle when I saw this rhubarb leaf while cleaning up my plot at the community garden…reminded me a bit of a certain Dali painting.

Perhaps I need some more sleep.ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Never have grown rhubarb but it is a very hardy plant.

It is! I once met a gardener who said you could drive over a rhubarb plant with a truck and it would not be permanently harmed. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The rhubarb has definitely had enough!

The weather most definitely had the final say….

My rhubarb had quite a few leaves like that which I cleared away. There are still several useful stalks left though–maybe I can use them before we finally get a frost.

I love that you can still harvest rhubarb at this time of year! YUM! The frosts have long taken their toll here….

The photo does not show up for me, Sheryl.

It took a minute here too, but eventually opened.

Still a no-go for me, but thanks for trying! ๐Ÿ™‚ Probably a browser related issue.

Oh, that’s really too bad – I’m not sure why that would be! At any rate, it’s just a photo of a floppy frozen rhubarb leaf draped over the side of a raised bed. It reminded me of the timepieces in Salvador Dali’s painting “The Persistence of Memory.”
