Hi Sheryl. Yes, I have Scabiosa ochroleuca – a creamy white one, which does far too well in my garden and has to be pulled up frequently to stop it getting the upper hand. The insects adore it though! I also put in a blue Scabiosa columbaria this spring, but it isn’t doing well…. perhaps it will seed itself and do better next year. I expect the drought didn’t help. If it doesn’t recover I’ll try this caucasica one, as it is very pretty. 😀

Beautiful!
Do you grow them, Cathy? – I can’t recall.

I love scabiosa, also its bigger cousin Knautia macedonica.
Knautia macedonica is so pretty; I wish it were hardier so I could grow it! 🙂
Lovely, I like that lavender color too against that background!
The flowers really stand out! 🙂
I have these flowers in my garden. I am delighted to know that they are called pincushion flowers. Such an apt name.
It is a befitting moniker! 🙂
Fabulous images! 🙂
Thank you very much, I so appreciate it! 🙂
