Leafy fun with the scanner on my printer….
The leaves haven’t all fallen from the trees yet, but I’m not sure we have much more autumn left in store here on the Prairies – we’re headed straight into winter, it seems! Plenty of snow in some parts already and, as I write this, the white stuff is accumulating on the ground here in Calgary.
Early wishes to everyone in Canada for a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Snow already! What a quick change from summer weather to winter! I love your scanned leaves!
I knew the snow was coming, but it’s still a bit of a shock to the system! I’m glad you like the scanned leaves, I had fun setting them up. Enjoy your weekend!
Thank-you Sheryl. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too x
I hardly can remember my northern leaves. Are these poplar? They’re really quite beautiful. But — snow? This is the time of year when latitude truly does affect attitude, just as Jimmy Buffet said!
Yes, you’re right – they’re poplar leaves. I love the Jimmy Buffet reference…so very true! 🙂
Good idee
Thanks! It was fun putting the images together.
It is hard to believe that there is snow already. We are very excited down here that the high today is 88f with somewhat low humidity.
I’d be delighted for your weather right now! We’ve only had two days of snow and I’m already longing for some warmth…. 🙂
Wow, snow! I’m happy to report there isn’t any in central Maine yet. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you!
Thank you very much! The snow is really coming down here today…we’ve already picked up quite an accumulation.
Holy guacamole! Is that usual for where you live?
It’s usual to get snow in October (even September!) but it’s not typical for it to last for more than a day, and it always melts right away. We’re on day three now, and it’s very cold and wintry-looking!
Again, wow! The weather has truly become weird, hasn’t it? I’m writing about for today’s blog post.
