Beautiful late day light at Beauvais Lake, near Pincher Creek, in southern Alberta. The fish weren’t biting last weekend, but a view like that more than made up for it!

Absolutely gorgeous. Imagine looking at this snapshot in winter and pretending you’re sitting in a boat on the lake.
A dream to ponder,

Just the pick-me-up I will need, especially if the winter is really cold and snowy! Love it! 🙂
Definitely beautiful–and worth savoring, as the days grow shorter . . .
Absolutely true! 🙂
I grew up under the big prairie sky, and yet I still find it easy to get lost in watching those clouds roll by. it was wonderful to see this image today, as I sit inside studying for another licensing exam! just what I needed to inspire me.
Hi, Janice – I hope you’re having an amazing summer, and that your exam went well! So glad you enjoyed this photo!
Heavenly view! I love the muted colours.
It was such a beautiful evening, and I love that part of the province so much.
Lovely sky
It was captivating!
What a shot of sky, trees, mountains, and water! As we would say in Maine, that one’s a keepah.
A keepah, for sure! I love it! 🙂
