This very cooperative snowy owl posed beautifully for my hubby and I in a field southeast of Calgary. So happy to have found one at last! 🙂

I was so happy to see one – it’s been a long time! And to get some photos was extra-special.
What a wonderful bird, we have a Little owl that spends a lot of the night on our roof; we hear it often but don’t often see it.
I’ve only seen a few owls in my life; to have one live on top of the house is rather special! Hopefully it’s not too noisy and doesn’t disturb you while you’re trying to sleep.
Really beautiful! We had geese flying over this morning, so maybe they think winter is over too, and there are several white egrets in the next valley – always pretty to see them fly!
Oh, I would love to see white egrets – that would be wonderful! They must be so beautiful.
I’ve seen birds during this winter season, but I certainly haven’t seen anything like this gorgeous snowy owl. Thank you for sharing with those of us who regularly see sea gulls, robins, hawks, and Canada geese. 🙂
It’s definitely a treat to see something different! I would love to see a robin right about now, but I guess it’s a tad too early for here…. 🙂

SO COOL! I haven’t seen any owls since last summer.
I was definitely excited to see this one…I haven’t had the opportunity to see many owls, I guess I’m not looking in the right places.
I have never seen an owl in real life. I think they are very interesting and would love not only to see one of some kind and get a picture of it. This is a great picture of the snowy owl. Hugs
