So…if you’re heading to any Seedy Saturday events in the next few weeks and you’re planning to swap seeds, you’ll need some envelopes! Instead of buying envelopes, you can use your Copy and Paste functions to snag this image or you can click on the Contact Me form here on Flowery Prose to ask me for the seed envelope template shown here (you don’t even have to write in complete sentences – just indicate “need seed envelope” and that will do). I’ll email you a PDF file with the template. Did I already mention that it’s free? If not: It’s free!

Then, grab some 8.5 x 11 inch paper (if one side is scrap, that’s absolutely okay!). Feed the sheets into your printer – and if you don’t have a printer, check if your local library has free or cheap printing services. You’ll probably be pleasantly surprised what’s on offer. I’ve made a colour template, but you certainly don’t need to print it in colour, unless you want to. Print, cut, glue or tape, then you’re ready to go. These envelopes are roomy (5 3/4 by 4 inches) so you can put plenty of seeds inside and have sufficient space on the front for proper labelling. If you have kids or grandkids, this is a great project to do with them.

Let’s get ready for the seedy season!

I’m delighted to hear from you – thanks so much for your comments!
