I created this list for Alberta Gardening, the Facebook group I manage … and thought it might be super valuable here, as well! This list includes nursery stock, garlic, potatoes, and mushroom spawn suppliers.

Obviously, this is the time to start our seeds. It’s -25C out there! Wouldn’t our seeds freeze on the way here or do they wait for better days when the temperature is above 0C?

I know – it seems so early, doesn’t it? But, judging from the posts in my gardening groups on social media, some gardeners are ordering now and there are already some items out of stock. (I have actually ordered a few packages of flower seeds and they have already arrived!). No worries about the cold if you do decide to order now – this article explains things with a bit of humour: https://laidbackgardener.blog/2018/01/04/laidback-gardener-tip-of-the-day-177/
