Winter in the northern hemisphere is officially only a few hours old, but it feels like it hasn’t stopped snowing here since September.  I really can’t complain when everything is so incredibly pretty.  😉

Wishing everyone the very best of the holiday season!

Thank you, Kathy, you’re so sweet! A very Merry Christmas to you, too!

It’s a beautiful photo, but the cross-hatching on the tree trunk reminded me of 1950s formica countertops! That’s a memory I didn’t expect! Merry Christmas!

I didn’t see that until you mentioned it! It really does resemble some of those patterns….

      Merry Christmas to you!

We had 9 inches of snow early November and not much since. High of 54 on Christmas – hasn’t been that warm since 1982! Happy Holidays Sheryl!

I know what you mean by snow! Doesn’t seem like a very sunny winter so far, either. We’ve also had day after day of thick fog – which is how it is this morning. The thick frost will be beautiful if the sun comes out!
Perfect weather, really, to stay home and enjoy the quiet and calm of just before Christmas!
Merry Christmas and all the Best in the New Year!

Gorgeous pictures Sheryl! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this unusual “frosting” on the trees and plants. Stay warm in the cold snap!
