Another import from my slowly-becoming-defunct blog There is a Light. When this photo was taken, we were in the darkest days of winter…look how far we’ve come in just a few short months! The snow is actually melting away from my perennial beds now and I have hope for crocuses by early April…. 🙂
“Solar Flare,” a light installation by Calgary artists Caitlind r.c. Brown and Wayne Garrett, photographed in the falling snow with the Calgary Tower in the background ~ 18 December 2013.
Happy for you that the snow is finally beginning to melt. I do hope you see some crocuses in April. The daffodils are beginning to bloom in my yard but they look very sad.
I would love to see some daffodils growing right now, even if they aren’t as beautiful as they ought to be. I’m glad to hear you have flowers already – it’s a promise of things to come! 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
Our snow is also melting 🙂
It’s such a relief to finally see it go!
Your snow is melting but we’re due for about 20 inches in the next couple of days! Sigh. The bright light in your photo is cheery, though!
Oh my goodness, that’s a huge amount! Yikes! 😦 Take it easy out there on the roads if you have to go out.
The snow here should start melting again in earnest tomorrow. Supposed to get to 50 degrees F.
Hope the melt is on for you this weekend!
