You may not know that for the past several years, I’ve published flash fiction stories by some incredibly talented international authors on Paper Butterfly Flash Fiction. I loved this little venture and worked every aspect of it, including providing payment out of my own pocket for the authors. There aren’t many places for authors to submit stories, and that’s too bad. I liked the fact that Paper Butterfly was a home for a few. Unfortunately, over the past couple of years, my own work-life balance crushed my ability to keep Paper Butterfly going. Yesterday, I published the final story on the site.

The good news: I am not going to completely shutter Paper Butterfly – all the wonderful stories on it are still out in the world for everyone to enjoy. And, who knows? Maybe at some point I’ll resurrect it. We’ll see.
